What we want to achieve

Every year the Safer Arun Partnership assesses the level of crime and anti-social behaviour that has been reported to partner agencies.

This assessment is known as the Strategic Intelligence Assessment and takes into account information from everyone we work with, not just the police, and provides a detailed account of crime levels in the district. Information from public surveys is also included to provide a picture of people’s perception of crime and their confidence in how things are being dealt with. 

The latest assessment was completed in January 2011. This determined the priorities and plan for the year 2011/12.
